Barrel Bore Straightness Laser (BBSL) All Diameter’s 20 mm to 240 mm.
Laser Alignment Services Shafts – Bores – Surfaces. A pipe (smooth or rifled) to be checked can be arranged either horizontally or vertically. To measure the warpage an operator places a laser module with adjusting fixture in front of the one pipe end in such a way that laser beam goes along the pipe next to its central axis.
The adjustment target (a magnet with frosted glass) is put on the another pipe end. By adjustment screws an operator aim the laser beam into the center of the target then the target is removed. From the empty pipe end the probe (reflector with pushing rod) is inserted.
The reflector is precisely centered by centering rings which are suitable for smooth and rifled bore pipes. During the measuring the probe is being moved by either hand (basic configuration) or a feeder.

All BCS Borescopes can be equipped with a special measuring sensor that allows to inspect the quality of the barrel and bore chrome lining. The sensor measures coating thickness of products made from Ferromagnetic and from no ferromagnetic allows. The sensor is built inside the laser scanner.
Captured Images and Data
Measured bore dimensions including coating thickness are stored in a local data base with binding to the exact position of the borescope.
- Small Barrel and Bores: 7.5 mm to 20 mm.
- Accuracy 10 Microns.
- The system can determine straightness on parts of the bore or, along the entire length of the barrel.

One probe is supplied for particular inner diameter. The principle of straightness measurement implies that the probe is centered with tolerance much more precise than instrument accuracy.
