Military Grade Solvent & Degreaser (MGS) quickly and deeply removes from the surfaces of automatic and other weapons and mechanical parts carbon deposits, gunpowder, thickened and hardened oils in the cold state`

The product also includes a special additive to prevent flash rust from forming before parts are re-lubricated. What’s more, after wiping down gun parts, Military Grade Solvent & Degreaser (MGS) leaves virtually no residue.

Other Applications

Daily cleaning and degreasing of surfaces such as stainless steel, plastic, marble, ceramic and textiles. Suitable for ultrasonic baths. Degreasing of glass surfaces, tools and surfaces with organic dirt, especially fatty contamination in the food industry. Suitable for cleaning programs under HACCP systems.

It is also used for pre-treatment of metal surfaces before burnishing, plating, painting, etc.

Instructions for Use

  • Weapon Cleaning
  1. Make sure firearm is cleared and made safe prior to disassembly.
  2. Spray BCS Military-Grade solvent down the bore and allow it to soak for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Soak the bore brush with BCS Military-Grade solvent and run it down the bore passing it through several times in order to loosen fouling.
  4. Soak a patch with BCS Military-Grade solvent and run it through the bore.
  5. Run a dry patch or patches through the bore until the patch comes out clean.

If Barrel Still Fouled (Repeat steps 2 thru 5 two more times).

  1. Saturate two (2) cotton patches with BCS Milspec CLP and pass them through the barrel. Allow to soak for 3-5 minutes in the barrel.
  2. Wet a nylon brush with BCS Milspec CLP and stroke the inside of the barrel 6-8 times.
    This is followed by another (1) wet patch and then two (2) dry patches.
  3. Repeat Steps 4 thru 5 until bore is clear of fouling and patches come out clean.
  4. Soak a patch with BCS Nano Weapon Gun Oil and pass it through the bore to condition and protect the bore (this lubrication option is only recommended for storage reasons.
  • Metal Surfaces and Worktops

Apply directly and allow it to work for several seconds (20 – 40 seconds depending on contamination).
A longer contact time will result is a better cleaning action. Remove with a clean, damp cloth then wipe with a dry cloth.

  • Glass and Ceramic

Saturate the area to be cleaned and wipe with a dry cloth.
For food industry utensils and surfaces: apply the product, allow it to work, and then rinse off.
Do not apply on painted surfaces or polycarbonate without a prior test.

Do not mix different cleaners. Avoid inhaling sprayed product.
Using the required quantity saves costs and minimizes environmental impacts.
